Team BikeExchange will make their debut at the Tour de Luxembourg with an attack-minded squad on the hunt for stage wins and a strong general classification challenge.
Estonian Tanel Kangert will lead the team’s GC charge and he will aided by the returning Esteban Chaves and young neo-pro Kevin Colleoni on the climbs. Veteran Brent Bookwalter will provide valuable experience, while Jack Bauer and Callum Scotson add power to the squad for the five days of racing.

“It’s going to be my first time racing at the Tour of Luxembourg and already this fact is exciting for me. I don’t really know what to expect from the race course, I guess it will be tough and demanding with no real big climbs, but lots of medium size climbs.
My training has been done on super flat roads in the last weeks, so it will be interesting to see how I can climb coming from flatlands.”
Mat Hayman (Sports Director):
“It’s not a WorldTour race but we still have eight strong WorldTour teams lining up and teams getting ready for a final push of the season, whether it’s the World Championships or the last big one-day races of the year.
It’s a five-day stage race with a 25km time trial on the penultimate stage, which will have a big impact on the general classification. But before we get to that TT, Luxembourg is known for its hilly, punchy climbs, nothing too long, but when they put them back-to-back it can crate an aggressive style of racing.
We’re looking to be involved in some aggressive racing, we go there without a sprinter, without a pure time trialist, so we’re going to have to be firing on every stage. We’re looking forward to it and we have some riders in some great form, Tanel is moving well, Jack Bauer was moving well last week in Benelux and we have Esteban Chaves coming back after a little break after the Olympics.
