With #VisitIsrael and Hammerhead, Israel Start-Up Nation will share the favorite loops of all Israeli riders in our two teams. In volume 1 we feature Israel Cycling Academy-rider Yuval Ben Moshe.
“This is the loop where Israeli climbers battle for a famous King of the Mountain (KOM). This segment on my favorite loop in Israel is 2 kilometers long and 9.6% average.”
“The segment on this loop was owned by Guy Niv, followed by a few other pros from the team. After a few attempts with friends, we succeeded to break the KOM. We got a great time and that was very satisfying.”
“However, now that Niv is back in Israel to prepare for the Giro, he took the KOM back. I guess we have to try to beat him again.”
“In general, this loop is very good to test your climbing skills and do race intervals. It is great to ride this loop with good company. You can also do it in the opposite direction. There is a good coffee stop in the middle of the route.”
