Benoît Cosnefroy: “Mixed feelings”
“I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I’m happy to be here again today, but on the other, I’m still missing the win. It’s never easy to maneuver against a team that has numerical superiority, and they played the game very well. Congratulations to them. In the final, Warren Barguil attacked but I wanted to stay behind Tim Wellens. When I launched my sprint, Wellens drifted. I still managed to get past and take second place. This makes my second podium in two races in this Ardennes classics campaign. I’m certainly happy with my form.”Benoît
Benoît Cosnefroy has finished second in the last three races in which he has taken part: the Circuit Cycliste Sarthe – Pays de la Loire, the Amstel Gold Race and De Brabantse Pijl.
The news: Benoît Cosnefroy always in the top-10 at De Brabantse Pijl
In three appearances at De Brabantse Pijl, Benoît Cosnefroy has always finished in the top-10. He placed third in 2020, eighth in 2021 and second in 2022.
