ANDRONI GIOCATTOLI SIDERMEC: THE CEPEDA ECUADOR CHAMPION JERSEY AT THE BRA BICYCLE MUSEUM
There is another Androni Giocattoli Sidermec jersey from Sunday at the Bicycle Museum in Bra which celebrated its sixteen years of life.
In fact, the team manager of Androni Giocattoli Sidermec Gianni Savio, who gave the welcome gift for the occasion, also took part in the appointment, wanted by the president of the structure Luciano Cravero, an enthusiast who has dedicated a life to the project. Among the many jersey to be admired from now on, the one of Ecuadorian champion Jefferson Cepeda also shines. The Ecuadorian climber with that jersey won on the prestigious summit of the Col du Galibier at the Tour de Savoir, also winning the final classification of the French race.
For Androni Giocattoli Sidermec, Sergio Barbero, today an appreciated mechanic of the team, was among the guests on the day of celebration, but who intervened above all to remember his past as a professional alongside Marco Pantani. The same was done by some of the other guests of honor including sport director Orlando Maini and the journalist Beppe Conti.
Instead, it fell to Gianni Savio, with the historic sporting director Domenico Cavallo, to recount the exploits of Cacaito Rodriguez, of whom the museum preserves a jersey from the times of the Zg Mobili Selle Italia and the Tour de France.
Among others, the day of celebration was also attended by Francesca Fenocchio, handbike champion and silver medalist at the London 2012 Games, Franco Balmamion, winner of two Giro d’Italia, and the former Braidese professional Matteo Cravero.
