Anthony Jullien: « I have always remained positive »
« My last race dates back almost six months (October 5, 2021). I can’t wait to start my 2022 season especially since the wait has been long. In agreement with the medical staff of the AG2R CITROËN TEAM and the cardiologist who follows me, we have decided that I can return to competition (Anthony Jullien has benign disorders of the adaptation of the heart rhythm).
This period was not easy for me, but I was well supported by the team, and the situation was well managed.
My sensations are very good in training so I can’t wait to see what it will be like in the race, and especially during the rounds of the Coupe de France. I have always remained positive by thinking of myself racing again, and that is what I train for. »Anthony
Twenty-nine days after suffering multiple collarbone fractures after crashing in the first kilometers of the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad on February 26, Lawrence Naesen is making his return to competition.
