Felix Gall, who is competing in his first Grand Tour, took 18th place in the stage. “I expected a more tense start and in the end, everything went well, without too much stress. I had good legs for the final,” he said.
Lawrence Naesen tried his luck in the finale. “My move was not planned. I was going up to help Felix and Andrea but since I had taken the front with some speed, I tried my luck,” he said.
Four Days of Dunkirk: Oliver Naesen well placed for the final weekend
Oliver Naesen is 11” behind the leader at the start of the final weekend of the Four Days of Dunkirk. “The first stages unfolded according to the usual scenario, concluding with a sprint, and the team reacted well. We are definitely in the game for the last two days and Oliver has the ability to pull off a great performance,” explains Stéphane Goubert, the directeur sportif for the AG2R CITROËN TEAM.
